A fully restored film and a remastered audio concert performance of Maxine Weldon, a lady who finds the heart of every song she sings. Known as both a Soul and Jazz singer, as well as an actress, Weldon recorded two albums with The Jazz Crusaders,
She has performed in small clubs with standing room only to the Hollywood Bowl, where an audience of 14,000 people gave her a standing ovation. We are also proud to have a special guest, the fine guitarist Greg Poree, who primarily worked in the recording studio with artists like Herbie Hancock and Ahmad Jamal.
